Terms & Conditions

1. About us
This website is operated by Rematt Ltd t/a Greensleep, registered in England and Wales under company number 11919014. Registered office: Moorside Mill, Dewhurst Street, Darwen, England, BB3 2EN. We trade under the name Greensleep. Email: info@greensleep.co.uk. Telephone: 01254 645005.
2. These terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to consumer purchases made through the Greensleep website. Please read them before placing an order. They do not affect any rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.
3. Products and product information
We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours and appearance can vary slightly between screens and production batches. Mattress dimensions and depths may be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances where stated on the relevant product page.
If a product is sold as clearance, graded, ex-display or with a disclosed cosmetic mark or repair, the relevant known issue will be described before purchase. Your statutory rights remain in place for faults that were not disclosed to you before the contract was made.
4. Orders and formation of the contract
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the products in your basket. A contract is formed when we accept your order and send an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example, an item is unavailable, the price or description contains an obvious error, payment is not authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
5. Prices and payment
Prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling. Prices include VAT where VAT is applicable unless clearly stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown during checkout before you place the order. Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
6. Delivery
Available delivery services, charges and estimated timescales are shown on the website or confirmed with you. We will deliver to the address supplied with your order. Please check your delivery details carefully.
Unless we agree a different delivery period with you, goods will normally be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made. Delivery dates and time windows are estimates unless we expressly agree that a particular date is essential.
For bulky goods such as mattresses, you must provide safe and reasonable access for delivery. Please check that the product will fit through doors, stairways, corridors and other access points before ordering.
7. Risk and ownership
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when you, or a person identified by you, takes physical possession of them. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.
8. Cancelling an online order
For most consumer orders placed online, you have a legal right to cancel without giving a reason. The cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day you receive the goods. If an order contains goods delivered separately, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item.
To cancel, contact us with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Full instructions are in our Returns Policy.
9. Returns and refunds
If you cancel within the applicable cooling-off period, you must return the goods within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. Unless the goods are faulty or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.
You may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop. We may reduce a change-of-mind refund to reflect any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. For a mattress, sleeping on or materially using the product may go beyond the level of handling reasonably required to inspect it.
Where you paid for standard outbound delivery, the standard delivery charge will be refunded where required by law. Any extra amount paid for an enhanced delivery method is not refundable beyond the cost of our standard delivery option.
10. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose where applicable and as described. If goods are faulty, damaged or misdescribed, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and, where useful, photographs of the issue.
Your remedies are governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law. This can include a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods and, depending on the circumstances and timing, rights to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
11. Manufacturer and Greensleep warranties
Any commercial warranty offered with a product is additional to, and does not replace or restrict, your statutory rights. Warranty exclusions and claim requirements will be stated with the product or warranty information.
12. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
13. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event materially affects your order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect. Your legal rights, including any right to cancel where applicable, remain unaffected.
14. Personal information
We use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Complaints
If you have a complaint, contact us using the details above. Please include your order number and enough information for us to investigate. We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those in force when your contract with us is made, except where a change is required by law or a regulatory authority.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections available to you and may bring proceedings in the courts available under applicable consumer law.
